About Innovation Lab

The Texas Innovation Group and TLA are creating an open opportunity for librarians from across the state to share expertise in library innovation and STEM or STEAM program ideas at the country’s largest state library conference.

Present at Innovation Lab

The Innovation Lab is seeking programs that highlight examples of innovation in your library! Whether you have a Maker Space, a STEM/STEAM education program, or other initiatives aimed at incubating innovative thought, we want to hear from you! Sign up for a program that shares your ideas and experiences and successes or failures. Individuals or groups of folks are encouraged to present what they have learned OR demonstrate what they have made in small or large group settings.

Deadline for form Submission: Wednesday, October 25, 2017.

Host a Maker Table at Innovation Lab

Want to share your ideas through demonstration? This is your chance! Exhibition space is available for selected librarians, makers, and STEM/STEAM Educators. Share your successes and programs for all types and sizes of libraries at your Maker Table. Your inexpensive program may be just what someone else is seeking. Your large makerspace is bursting with ideas that another library could learn from. Come one, come all, and share! This is for individuals, groups of folks, schools, libraries, or other organizations that have something great to share and want to demonstrate how it works.

Deadline for form Submission: Wednesday, November 15, 2017.
