What is Teacher Day@TLA?
Classroom teachers will have the opportunity to learn more about the value of teacher/librarian collaboration through specially designed activities, including conference sessions, guest speakers, and other engaging activities during a one-day special event during the TLA conference.

The focus of this program is for classroom teachers who experience a TLA conference, to return to their districts as library advocates and collaborators - and perhaps become librarians themselves.
Read about last year's event in the Texas Library Journal, Summer 2017, page 63.
What can teachers and sponsoring librarians expect during Teacher Day@TLA?
  • attendance at an invitation-only breakfast on Thursday, April 5, 2018
