Texans turn to libraries for resources to help them find jobs and improve their workplace skills. Libraries teach literacy, ESL, computer skills, résumé building, interview preparation, and more. They provide computer access for job searches and online applications; and offer testing and certification preparation, tutorials on business software programs, and support development of technical skills such as project management. Libraries across the state often partner with local Workforce Solutions offices and other local organizations to help meet the increased demand for worker training programs.
