Strong Texas Libraries Collection Development Grant

The Texas Library Association is pleased to offer 20 grants of $1,000 each for collection development. Thanks to H-E-B for their generous donation in support of this grant program.
Grants will be awarded to eligible applicants on a first-come, first-served basis; funds can be used for books, eBooks, and audiobook purchases. Only one grant per library will be awarded.
Applications will close when the maximum number (20) of eligible applications have been received, or August 31, whichever comes first. Grant recipients will be notified by September 15, with funds distributed by September 30.
Eligibility
Applicants must be a 2024 TLA member serving a small population defined as one of the following:
- School district with less than 1,600 students
- Public library under 20,000 service population
- Academic institution with less than 2,000 students
