CULD Stipends

Stipend to attend TALL Texans

The TALL Texans Leadership Development Institute (TALL Texans) is a transformational program that helps participants learn and embrace their potential to take new initiatives for their institutions, profession, and stakeholders.

To be considered for one of 4 $250 TALL Texans stipends from CULD, you must be a:
  • Texas resident;
  • TLA member in good standing;
  • CULD member and volunteer on a CULD committee
  • Supporting expenses associated with attending the TALL Texans Leadership Development Institute
  • Applications due September 26

Melody Kelly Stipend to attend the TLA Annual Conference

The Melody Kelly stipend will be awarded to one division member in a support staff position, which will allow the recipient to register for the TLA Annual Conference at no cost, not including any additional ticketed event fees. The purpose of the stipend is to encourage support staff membership in TLA and CULD.

Criteria

  • Must be employed in a support staff position at an academic library in Texas.
  • Must be a current TLA and CULD member.
  • Must attend the CULD business meeting at the TLA Annual Conference to be recognized.
  • Must agree to serve on the Stipend Selection Committee for the next year.

The deadline to apply is February 11, 2025.
