Honoring substantial donations to libraries.

The Texas Library Association Benefactor Award recognizes substantial donations such as land, buildings, stocks, cash, and collections by individuals, institutions, and foundations. The donations must have a significant impact on libraries and their programs.

Application deadline has passed.

The 2022 winners of the Benefactor Award:

Wanda Conlin and Don Boren were recognized for their support of the new Reby Cary Youth Library, which is part of the Fort Worth Public Library system.

The Glaser Family Foundation was recognized for their support, for the last 18 years, of the Colleyville Public Library Foundation to support the library’s summer reading programs.

Any TLA member may nominate a deserving benefactor for consideration.  Nominations open September 15 and close Feb. 10.
