Distinguished Service

Honors a librarian who demonstrates superlative leadership and service to the library field.

The Texas Library Association Distinguished Service Award is presented to a librarian who has demonstrated substantial leadership in the profession, and provided outstanding services in one or more areas of the library profession.

Any TLA member may nominate a deserving librarian for consideration. Nominees must be TLA members. Nominations open September 15 and close January 15, 2025.
