The Texas Library Association Distinguished Service Award is presented to a librarian who has demonstrated substantial leadership in the profession and provided outstanding services in one or more areas of the library profession.
Any TLA member may nominate a librarian for consideration. Nominees must be TLA members. Nominations for the 2027 Distinguished Service Award will open September 15, 2026.
