District 1 Meeting
The District 1 meeting takes place on October 15.
All District meetings for the Fall of 2020 will be virtual.
District meetings provide regional settings for presenting continuing education, carrying on legislative activities, and recruiting members. The annual fall meetings are an opportunity for local librarians, para-professionals, and trustees from all types of libraries to meet, network, and set a foundation for collaborative efforts.
Join the Tour of Texas! Since this year, all District meetings will be virtual, TLA has created a unique opportunity called “Tour of Texas.” For a fee ($80 for members, $100 for nonmembers, $60 for students, or unemployed or on furlough) you will be able to attend all District meetings, or as many as you like. It’s a wonderful opportunity to learn more about all of TLA’s districts firsthand.
Rates for individual district meetings:
- $20 TLA members
- $10 students, and those unemployed or on furlough
- $35 non-members (except District 6, which is $25 for non-members)
