Past as Prologue: Cultivating Community Through Archival Engagement

This session showcases how a high school library partnered with a sociology class to use historical yearbooks as archival resources for hands-on research. Students learned archival care, data analysis, and qualitative research while exploring school-based case studies on representation and community change.

These webinars are FREE for TLA members and $40 for non-members. TLA webinars cover a wide range of topics relevant to library professionals across all library types. Recordings will be available, for free, to TLA members for three months after the live session to view in the TLA Learning Hub.
Note: The link to join will be sent out to registrants the day before the event. We will keep registration open until noon the day of the webinar; day-of registrants will receive the link to join early in the afternoon.
