Have you heard about the Texas Bluebonnet Award program but are not really sure how to implement it on your campus or at your public library? Does your school or public library participate, but you could really use some new and fresh ideas? Have you always thought about being on the TBA program or selection committee but are not sure where to start? Then this is the session for you! Registration is open for 2024 voting, which begins in January. Applications to be on a Texas Bluebonnet Award committee are being accepted now – these are due October 1! Find out everything you need to know to participate in TBA or to apply for a spot on the committee, in this TLA Talks session. Terri Harkey, Texas Bluebonnet Award Coordinator, and Julie Alvarez, Youth Services Librarian at Benbrook Library and member of the TBA Selection Committee, will present this session.
