Centered on the theme of Cultivating Community, Thriving Together, this year’s conference is designed to bring academic, public, and school libraries together in meaningful ways.
Whether you’re attending for the first time or returning as a seasoned conference-goer, the episode offers practical tips to help you make the most of your experience from using journey maps, the conference app, and visiting Monday’s poster session presentations.
The conversation also highlights exciting general sessions featuring Keynote Speakers John Leguizamo, Kate Quinn, and Kate Bowler, along with popular ticketed events such as the BCRT Authors Brunch with Karen Parsons, Texas Tea with the Authors, A Toast to Library Pioneer Dr. Joe Dahlstrom, and an Evening with the Authors, among others. Reminder: Ticketed events must be purchased by March 12.
Attendees can look forward to exploring the exhibit hall, meeting authors at signings, educational sessions and events, volunteering, and even participating in a scavenger hunt. And of course, Houston’s nearby attractions offer even more opportunities to connect and explore.
If you’re considering attending or already registered, this episode is your guide to what makes the 2026 conference special.
