Navigating TLA: Why Updating Your Member Profile Helps You Stay Informed
It’s membership renewal time! Whether you are renewing or have already renewed your membership, keeping your member profile up-to-date in the Members Online portal ensures you receive tailored resources and important messages from us. Your input makes a real difference in how we serve you and enhance our connection with members like you.
How to Update Your Profile
You can update your profile when you renew online, or or log in to the Members Online Portal at any time. If you need help, this video will walk you through the steps of renewing.
Login Screen
After logging in through our website, click My Profile (located on top menu or left-hand side menu).
Update Your Demographics
The demographic information you share in the portal will be used by TLA staff to help us improve events and manage membership and other association business, ensuring we serve you better. Please feel free to share what you’re comfortable with as your privacy is important to us.
Select Update Demographics from the left menu to:
- Share your student status and graduation date (if applicable).
- Indicate the year when you entered the profession.
- Answer “How did you hear about our association?” to help us improve our membership outreach.
- Fill in any other demographic information you wish.
Verify Personal Details
While you are in your profile, it’s a great time to verify your other information, like your name, title, email, address, and organization. This helps us keep everything up to date and ensure you receive relevant member communications.
