Do you have expertise or knowledge that would be of interest to library professionals? The Texas Library Association is accepting proposals for consideration for the 2027 Annual Conference, taking place April 19-22, 2027, in San Antonio, TX at the Henry B. González Convention Center.

TLA is seeking sessions that showcase innovative learning while reinforcing the core principles of the librarian profession.

TLA 2027 Annual Conference Goals

1. Build an awareness of opportunities and challenges across library communities.
2. Provide spaces to connect with others so library workers feel supported, validated, and re-energized.
3. Present programs that offer clarity, collaboration, and support across the library ecosystem, so all feel they are a valued part of the library profession.
4. Offer scalable, applicable programming and session options with immediate takeaways that are fun experiences which build community connections.

Submittal Information

Submit your proposal by June 24, 2026 (midnight CST) for a chance to share your expertise, ideas, and innovations with library professionals from across Texas. We welcome your creativity and expertise, please note that proposal submissions are limited to two per person.
