What are your job responsibilities at TLA?
Assisting everyone with any of their membership and registration questions or issues, answering the TLA general email, shipping out store orders, and whatever else comes along!

Tell us three things about yourself. 

• I am very much into nerd stuff. I love anime, manga, Eurovision, books (surprise!), Legos, and Star Wars just to name a few.
• My dogs, Riker and Sulu, are the world’s best and most spoiled dogs ever. Seriously, Riker gets a pool party with her sister every year on their birthday.
• I have been learning Norwegian for the past two years.

What’s a book, movie, album, or podcast you enjoyed recently that you’d recommend and why?
Lately, I have been listening to the Finnish band Pasa on repeat. I may not be able to understand anything, but they sound fantastic, and their vocalist is incredible. For those of you who prefer to understand the songs they’re listening to, I would highly recommend I Made An Album by Daði Freyr.

What’s your favorite place in Texas?
I don’t know if I could narrow it down to a single place. Anywhere that has hiking trails and/or a river or lake will do just fine.

What would you like to share with members about TLA that they might not know?
I worked for public libraries for about 14 years before joining the staff here at TLA. The amount of work that this team accomplishes is unreal, everyone is so dedicated and amazing at what they do. I’ve benefited from the resources they provide so many times and I am so excited to be part of the team!
