This June, library supporters have an easy way to help make those experiences possible. From June 3 – 30, customers at H-E-B stores can donate at checkout to support summer reading programs and other initiatives at libraries across Texas.
The funds raised through this campaign help provide grants that allow libraries to expand and enhance their summer programming, activities, resources, and learning opportunities that help libraries better serve their communities.
Last year’s campaign demonstrated how small donations can create meaningful change for libraries and the communities they serve.
TLA thanks H-E-B for their ongoing support of Texas libraries. Together, small acts of generosity can have a lasting impact on summer learning experiences at libraries throughout the state.

In this month’s Texas Library Association LTTX podcast, hosted by Regina Reed, Mychal Threets shared his thoughts on library joy, mental health, literacy, and why his mission extends far beyond libraries.
TLA’s monthly June 2026 member spotlight features Yasmeen Harris-Youngblood, Librarian at Hexter Elementary, Dallas ISD.
