TLA 2020 Houston: Registration Options

TLA News
Share:

First of all, the TLA staff would like to express our gratitude for all the heartfelt messages of support we have received in the wake of the decision to cancel the TLA 2020 Houston in-person conference because of the COVID-19 epidemic.

The TLA Annual Conference represents 80 percent of our organization’s annual revenue, and the greater the number of registrants who opt to attend the virtual conference or use their registration fee toward the 2021 conference, the higher the likelihood that we will come through this crisis intact and able to serve our members with the service and quality we have traditionally provided. TLA is an advocate for librarians of all types throughout Texas. We have long been both the voice and the heart of the Texas library community and hope to continue in that role for many years.

We have several options for TLA 2020 Houston registered attendees to recoup the value of your registration fees.

  1. Use your in-person registration fee to participate in our TLA 2020 Virtual conference.
  2. Apply your TLA 2020 Houston registration fee to TLA 2021 in San Antonio.
  3. Request a refund. 100 percent of your registration fee is refundable. You can also receive a 100 percent refund for all ticketed events and exhibits-only passes. Please allow time to process these requests. Our goal is to honor all refund requests by the end of July.

Important: you must choose an option by April 1. After April 1, these choices are no longer available.

We hope you will select option 1 or 2, and consider making an additional donation to TLA.

Please complete the form by April 1, 2020.
