Projects Initiated at the Institute

  • Photo Album / Scrapbook – Each class traditionally compiles an album with photos of their Institute experience. The book is compiled digitally so that everyone can get a copy. The albums are brought to TALL events like the social at the TLA Conference.
  • Graphic – Each class also traditionally designs a graphic representing their unique week. The decision process for this design employs the leadership skills learned during the week. The art has usually adorned a T-shirt, but now through Cafe Press, participants can put the design on different items like tote bags, hats, and mousepads as well as shirts.
  • Personal Action Agenda – Learning does not end at the conclusion of the Institute. Each individual will have two years to complete two projects for their home institution.
