The Distance/ E-Learning Discussion Group contributes to library service and librarianship by providing support, continuing education, and professional development opportunities to library staff. This, in turn, allows library staff members to provide better and more comprehensive services and resources to the community of distance learners.

Every year in the fall, each of TLA’s 10 Districts holds a day-long meeting for local members, which is a fantastic opportunity for networking and learning.
