Need help with the costs of attending 2026 Annual Conference in Houston?

District 2 is now offering stipends to cover early-bird registration for up to 3 members!

Your completed stipend application must be submitted by midnight on Friday, January 16, 2026. Applications submitted with incomplete or inaccurate information will be eliminated from the review process by the District 2 Stipend Committee.

To qualify for the stipend of $399, you must be:

  1. Currently employed in a library that is located within the geographical boundaries of TLA District 2
  2. A District 2 member in good standing prior to the submission deadline. Although there are no educational prerequisites or restrictions, you must be committed to future participation in TLA & District 2.

Applications from those who have previously attended a Conference will be accepted, but first-time applicants will be given higher priority. The stipend reflects the cost of early-bird registration, so recipients must register for Conference by January 31, 2026 for the stipend to cover the entire registration fee.
